Dr. Matei Popa-Radu
Dr. Matei Popa-Radu moved from southern Florida back to California to be reunited with his family who have resided in California for over 20 years. He earned his medical degree in south Florida from Nova Southeastern University where he graduated with honors. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. Dr. Popa-Radu is highly skilled and has received Board Certifications in Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Clinical Cardiology. He has expertise in exercise stress testing, electrocardiography, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography as well as vein ablations. Dr. Popa-Radu currently holds memberships in the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Additionally, he is also fluent in Spanish and Romanian.
